A commitment and investment of the community in common workflow tools is inevitable, given the increasing complexity of experiment setups and HPC infrastructure. Yet, measured by the need of professional software tools to support the entire end-to-end ESM workflow, the list of available and commonly supported tools is still short. ENES fosters the use and development of common tools by collecting information and motivating the exchange on suitable tools. The list below will be extended continuously.
|CDO||Climate Data Operators|
|Cylc||The cylc suite engine ("silk") is a workflow engine and meta-scheduler|
|Cylc||A Python based workflow engine|
|FCM||A modern Fortran build system, and wrappers to Subversion for scientific software development|
|OASIS||The OASIS coupler|
